Edge Extension

Overview

The LockLLM Edge Extension brings powerful prompt injection protection to Microsoft Edge browser. Currently in development, this extension will provide the same comprehensive security features as the Chrome extension, optimized for Edge users.

Scan prompts before sending to ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, or any AI interface. The extension operates seamlessly in the background, protecting you from malicious prompt injections without interrupting your workflow.

The Edge extension is currently under active development. We are working to bring all the features from the Chrome extension to Microsoft Edge, including:

  • Popup scanner for quick prompt validation
  • Right-click context menu scanning
  • Automatic copy/paste detection and scanning
  • File upload scanning for document analysis
  • Real-time threat detection and blocking
  • Detailed threat analysis with confidence scores

  • Context Menu Integration: Right-click any text to scan for threats
  • Auto-Scan: Automatic detection when copying or pasting AI prompts
  • File Scanning: Upload and scan files for embedded prompt injections
  • Real-Time Protection: Background scanning with instant alerts
  • Detailed Reports: View threat types, risk scores, and mitigation advice

Availability

The Edge extension will be available on the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store once development is complete. Sign up for notifications in the dashboard to be alerted when the extension launches. In the meantime, Chrome users can install the Chrome extension.

Getting Started

While the Edge extension is in development, Edge users can access LockLLM security through the REST API or proxy integration. Documentation for the Edge extension is coming soon with updates on release timeline and feature availability.
